Module: “Is everything for sale? A few words on consumerism and pop culture”

Look at the collage below. It’s Richard Hamilton’s “Just what is it that makes today’s homes so different, so appealing?”, an artwork made in 1956. Hamilton is perceived to be one of the most influential artists of the pop art, artistic movement that draws inspiration from mass culture.
