AGERE AUDE Foundation for Knowledge and Social Dialogue project leader. A thriving non-governmental organization that has been operating since 2014, implementing many social and cultural initiatives aimed mainly at young people.

The scope of its activities is primarily social participation and activating representatives of local communities to act through various forms of support. To date, the foundation has implemented and co-created projects concerning, among others, the popularization of cultural heritage among people with limited access to culture; educational projects promoting national language and heritage (grants from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage) or creative social initiatives (Erasmus+). Among the Foundation’s experiences in project-related areas are projects to encourage young audiences to experience and create art, including 1) More than a painting – feel painting with all your senses (polysensory experience of works of Polish painting (MKIDN grant, 2). Choose culture – with hate you are not yourself!, popularization of knowledge of the Polish language and efficient communication (grant under the Ojczysty – add to favorites program).

The implementation of such initiatives was possible thanks to the experience and skills of the people who are part of the Foundation team. Among the members of the Foundation are long-time cultural animators, creators of grassroots social initiatives – local opinion leaders whose activities are focused on education, culture and participation.

TERRAM PACIS, project partner. The Norwegian foundation, which was founded in 2010 in Oslo, is an independent humanitarian organization that works in the field of human rights and youth and adult education. 

The overarching goal of the organization’s activities is to change the social environment and living conditions of residents through the implementation of various support and development activities. Among the projects that are implemented by the organization, the following activities can be mentioned, which are related to a specific educational area:

1) digital education,

2) gender education,

3) environmental education,

4) participatory education,

5) human rights education.

In terms of activities and experiences of organizations that are related to the presented project, it is necessary to mention, among others, a project that used modern communication tools in education. The undertaking was entitled Integration of teenage immigrant women using information and communication technologies.

It aimed to support and encourage young immigrant women to use IT tools in self-study and in establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships. Among other experiences of the partner organization in the area related to the task, it is also worth mentioning project activities aimed at developing an outcome in the form of a manual for the development of interpersonal skills and the use of new media for this purpose (the “Pathways to Teaching Identities” project, funded under the Erasmus+ program).The key people involved in the project have knowledge and experience in implementing educational projects that are profiled in the use of modern technologies and social inclusion. Their experience in applying innovations in formal and informal education is also an important asset.
