The project titled Cultural Transfusion is implemented by two organizations. The leader is the Agere Aude Foundation for Knowledge and Social Dialogue, the project partner is the Norwegian organization Terram Pacis.
As part of the educational project entitled Cultural Transfusion, we will have the opportunity to create unique materials for humanistic contextual education. Among them will be: teaching aids for educators, mental games for students, and a publication containing good practices for integrating school subjects such as Polish, art and history.
The project concerns the creation of:
REPOZYTORIUM,
A SET OF CREATIVE TASKS,
CULTURAL EDUCATION – GOOD PRACTICES.
REPOZYTORIUM
The online platform, will contain materials for wide use by educators for contextual teaching of humanities subjects, with particular emphasis on cultural heritage content.
Materials for educators will be prepared in the form of a virtual repository of 15 modules, which will include:
lesson plans
inspirations
methodological guidelines
sample exercises using digital resources.
The repository will be developed in accordance with the assumptions of hypertextual thinking – the content housed in the various parts of the repository will correspond and complement each other.
The repository will be thematically linked to the other deliverables, i.e. an activity generator in the form of a game like draw a task and look at the artwork, i.e. the same artworks will be applied to create games for students. The games are designed to support the development of students and their creativity, and to support them in the difficulties that may have arisen from the pandemic, such as anxiety and the problem of interpersonal barriers. The tasks will use methods of art therapy, self-development, a variety of techniques and issues.
SET OF CREATIVE TASKS
Creative tasks complement the repository, are designed to support the development of students and their creativity, and support them in the difficulties that may have arisen from the pandemic Tasks will use methods of art therapy, self-development, a variety of techniques and artistic issues with the substantive support of artists, photographers, writers, psychologists and therapists involved in the project. Made available, among other things, in the form of a “draw a picture-draw a task” game, they will stimulate´ the natural creative need and the need for contact with works of art, educate´, open up to the surrounding reality, build new forms of communication and strengthen the potential of cultural participants.
CULTURAL EDUCATION/GOOD PRACTICES
The publication will be a collection of good practices, recommendations and guidelines developed through, among other things, analysis of social and teaching needs (in the field of post-pandemic cultural education and contextual teaching) and cooperation with a partner. It will also include contextual and interdisciplinary lesson plans, expert statements (psychologists, didacticians) on how youth function in a pandemic world, hyperlinks leading to podcasts, games/tasks . The publication will contain recommendations and valuable tips for educators and entertainers, opinions of project recipients on the exercises and forms of incorporating culture into youth education. The publication will be a didactic inspiration and a unique source of knowledge about contextual and interdisciplinary teaching, combining good educational practices from Poland and Norway. It will be made available free of charge on the project website, distributed in hard copy during the dissemination conference and sent to the target group.
